LAKES AND DUCK POND

There are many water features at Cypress Pond that offer year round enjoyment for the family. The plantation is complete with a 31 +/- acre duck pond, a second pond, and features its namesake the 85 +/- acre Cypress Pond. There are also 2 +/- miles of creeks, including Percosin Creek and Cooleewahee Creek which provide exceptional game flow.

A 85 +/- acre Private Lake
Cypress Pond Plantation is a one of the premier large acreage showplaces featuring its namesake a spectacular 85 +/- acre Lake, Cypress Pond. Aside from the stunning Antebellum Home, this lake is the highlight of the property. It offers great fishing, boating, and family recreation! There are three docks on the lake and it has exceptional fishing, including bass and bream.

The lake itself is superior to most natural lakes. It is an extremely unique natural lake for Southwest Georgia. It has a natural "flow through" that allows the lake to be "topped off" and the healthy addition of flowing water and a large drainage area. The plantation owns all of the surrounding lands and there is no public access to the lake. Approximately half of the lake frontage is lined with its namesake, Cypress, draped in Spanish moss. The lake is vibrant with all types of wildlife and bird species. The fishing, boating and recreational attributes of this lake are phenomenal. In addition, as one would expect for a property of this caliber, there is also a 12 inch well to ensure a bountiful water supply even during the driest times of the year.

Duck Pond
The 31 +/- acre duck pond and the 85 +/- acre Lake lend to a great waterfowl population at Cypress Pond, including wood ducks, ring necks, and mallards.
